On Thursday March 21, 2024 the world celebrated World Down Syndrome Day, bringing awareness everywhere how beautiful our differences are.

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.

R. Roosevelt Thomas, Jr.

Our programs, like gardening, photography, soccer, football, and so many more, are all centered around celebrating all abilities and differences we have. In celebration of World Down syndrome Day, E-Life partnered with the Warriors, who hosted E-Hoops for a “Play Where the Pros Play” day of inclusive basketball clinics exclusively for E-Hoops community families on Saturday, March 23rd. Over 150 kids, coaches, and families came together from all over the Bay Area to the Warriors home court at The Chase Center in San Francisco. Seeing so many families connect was a great way to celebrate our differences.

She’s excited to continue to bring E-Life into new creative territories and areas of need.
